enchanting

originally uploaded by François Coquerel.

Today I was totally inspired by this photo on flickr. I'm finishing up with school (tonight is my final Latin American History lecture) and besides being giddy about catching up with orders (btw - thank you for your patience!) I'm also excited about getting ideas together for photographing the new batch of dresses, tops, etc.

The incredibly talented Alyson is hopefully(!) going to be working on this project with me! Will keep you posted...

seashells

It's so funny when some unexpected object or idea keeps popping up. I ran across shells like these at the McKissik Museum the other day when I ran in for a peek during lunch. I saw them again when looking through one of the Funk & Wagnals books with Jackson before his nap. Then I found a fabric with a similar pattern on a huge discount the other day! How bizare.

gray day

I love a nice clear evening after a long rainy day.
Just finished stitching this up, still needs pressing. I wish I had enough of this fabric to keep one for myself.
